My Pet

Wes and I take about 3 walks a day around our apartment complex and in doing so we have become friends with many of the neighborhood kids.  One little girl around the age of 3 is this cute little chubby hispanic girl who we call "The Complex Cruiser." She's usually out in her power wheels convertible swerving all over the side walks.   This is a problem especially when we walk by and she's staring at Wes instead of looking where she is going.  It is pretty hilarious

Today as we went to check the mail we were met by the complex cruiser, her mom and brother at the mailboxes.  When She saw us she said "Aww how cute!" And came and touched his hand.  She turned to her cousin who was also with them and said, "Isabella do you want to come pet the baby?" Her 8 year old brother added, "Look at his eyes they are bulging out so much they are going to fall out of his head!" Wes is like a puppy dog with really big eyes according to them.  Is this a compliment?!  I guess you can't blame them for being honest:)

Project Life

My goal has always been to make yearbooks out of our pictures for the past couple years now.  But because we have so many pictures, I have yet to find a solution to fitting more pictures to a page rather than a few 4x6  pictures at a time.

Then I came across Project Life and thought, this is it!  My yearbooks can become a reality!  Because I am determined to keep photo albums alive, this is my next project. I love the photo page layouts and how they allow to put more on each page.  I'm on phase one of this massive project:  Organize 2 years worth of pictures.  And so this is on a 'to be continued' status for now

dirty jobs

Here's to conquering the baby world one cloth diaper at a time! Let it be known (specifically to my sisters) that I can handle the dirtiest of diapers bare handed!

the healthy cookie

These cookies are de-lic-ious!  There is no sugar, butter, or eggs added to the recipe which makes the cookies 'healthy,' buuut the bananas and coconut help balance that out:)  These make for some yummy doughy cookies that you feel a little better about pigging out on
