the minus the bear concert was pretty amazing.  this was their 10 year anniversary tour so they played a lot of songs from their older albums and only a couple from OMNI.

So back to normal here.  Matt has finals next week so he does a lot of this:

me on the other hand am doing the sewing thing and making messes like these:

i love sewing.. i think.  i cant tell you how many broken needles, machine dissections, seam ripping, re-stitching, and curse words have been had around here:)

Halloweeeeen

   

Hope everyone had a super Halloween!  We had some friends over to make caramel apples and yes costumes were required.  We made Matt's costume and I have to say it turned out perty darn good!

2 days

We are going to see these guys in 2 days!  This was our first concert we went to together back in 2006 in Salt Lake City.  My only recollections of that trip were driving 5 miles an hour through a snow storm, my friend Mckenzie punching some guy in the nose after he moshed into her, and all the guys we came with hanging out on the balcony of the venue watching while Mckenzie and I were getting smashed by a bunch of idiots.  hahaha it was too great!  I loved that trip!!

did you know?

did you know i'm a nanny?  11 month old twins!  i signed up with a nanny agency and this family chose me kind of like an adopted child.  they interviewed me, watched me with their kids, made their decision, gave me an offer, and i accepted.

i have been with them for 2 months now.  it has been fun watching them interact with each other and grow together.  they are both so different and both developing at a different pace.  one is crawling while the other still isnt.  the one that isnt gives his brother dirty looks when he watches him crawl.  they are starting to notice each other more too which is fun.  ive also learned that i dont want twins anymore:) they..are a handful!  i come home smelling like baby spit up and the first thing i do is dodge matt and dinner and head straight to the shower.

their dad is a photographer on the side.  he took these pictures.  they are big Nebraska football fans if you couldn't tell.  they actually had to wear those helmets for a couple of months to shape their little heads.   scots shots photography

a friend and i were talking about our love hate relationships with our cell phones.  Im not so much addicted to my phone like others.. i have a hard enough time doing the whole texting thing. but when it comes to my computer.. thats my addiction.  days go by where i feel like i’ve done nothing because I get pulled in website after website and then without realizing that my day is gone.
